Reading expectations

Reading

It is really important that children read a range of texts (from novels to newspaper reports). We expect children to read a minimum of five times a week and record this in your reading record / communication books. Adults are expected to read with their children, ask questions about the texts and sign the reading records at least once a week.

Children are expected to bring their reading records to school each day.

This half term children have been given a reading challenge to read as many different texts as possible. Please help them to achieve well at this.
