6/5/20 Wednesday

Morning Reception,

I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, it looks like it is here to stay for the rest of the week. I find it so much better when the sun shines because George and Effie can keep busy in the garden and let me get on a little bit. We have been enjoying lots of ice-creams in the garden and we love to have a bbq when it has been really warm. What lovely ways do you all enjoy the sunshine?

Hopefully the caterpillars I have ordered will soon arrive at my house as I can start to document what is happening everyday and I will share this with you all. I have attached a youtube video for you all to watch about the life cycle of the butterfly.

I thought I would share this next picture with you all as I have spoken about this person a few times so it would be nice for you to see what they look like. This is Will he is Effie's dad and we are going to be getting married on the 27th September.... Hopefully!! He is working from home but has a lot more spare time than me so is helping George and Effie with their distance learning while I can help you all.

I hope you all enjoy the activities set today and any problems then just tell your parents to send me a message.

Take care and remember to keep smiling, I am so proud of you all.

Handy Tip

Here is a handy tip for any of those children who are struggling with putting their coats or hoodies on independently... Please encourage as much independence as possible with the children's getting dressed and putting on their coats so that they will achieve their EYFS goal in Health and Self-care.

EYFS GOAL- Children know the importance for good health of physical exercise, and a healthy diet, and talk about ways to keep healthy and safe. They manage their own basic hygiene and personal needs successfully, including dressing and going to the toilet independently.
