Yesterday I enjoyed reading your Easter holiday news, so, thank you. That piece of writing was what we call, non-fiction because it was it was real life. Today I would like you to do the opposite! We are going to be using our imaginations and writing some fiction, so made up sentences. We are going to be doing some ‘creative writing’. To do this you need to chose one (or more if you want to) of the pictures from the PDF below. The pictures have a title, which is a question. For example, ‘Whose footprints are these and how did they get there? We do not know the real answer so we are going to make up some reasons and put our ideas into sentences. You can’t be wrong on this activity so just remember the key things about how we write a sentence and let your imagination run wild! Like yesterday, use the sentence checklist below to remind you when you are writing!
