Day 10: Friday 3rd April 2020
Happy Friday folks… we made it! Two weeks down into our distance learning journey, who knows how many to go!!
I am SO proud of every single one of you, parents and children! They way you have got on board and embraced this tricky, uncertain situation is incredible and you have exceeded my expectations! No one really knew how it would go but, I for one, am so impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm you have all shown, it has really helped make my time fly and everyday a pleasure. Like I have said before, there will be good days and bad but as long as we are in it together, we will get through it! GO TEAM 1BR! I have attached a little video at the bottom to basically reiterate this!
Once today is done you have a whole two weeks free from distance learning and the teacher’s emails will be turned off. I have attached lots of Easter activities to today’s page which will be there forever now! These are for use at your leisure and only if you want to. Mr Tang has also provided more Easter ideas on the main distance learning page. Please go and check it out as there is a message from him as well!
We know that without the normal holidays and outings you might normally fill the days with, you may just need some activities up your sleeves to keep the lovelies entertained! I may even do some myself! Haha!
I hope you do have a really lovely break, take this time to relax, enjoy and make memories together as a family. Myself and Mr BR, although he will still be working, we will hopefully have some time to watch films, go for walks, do a puzzle, enjoy the garden, bake, cook, and I will certainly be having a spring clean and a general sort out and tidy – all those jobs you normally put off! Remember to be super helpful around the house and keep those bedrooms tidy!
Keep up your daily diary if you want to, but if you want to have a break from it, that’s fine as on the first Monday back your English work will be to summarise your Easter Holiday News! So, I can hear all about it then!
Remember to check out Twitter or Mr Tang’s YouTube for our Virtual Brilliant Book Assembly this week and also there you will find my bedtime story! https://youtu.be/7CNMnLX09HI
Listen out for my ‘fun thing to do in lock down’ during the brilliant book video as if you live near Angling Spring Woods in Great Missenden you might want to take a walk and explore one day!
Finally, stay home and stay safe everyone!
