LO: To create an engaging, persuasive conclusion

Today we are wrapping up all of your hard work with a summary of things that the school finds important- one last chance to persuade people to come. In the case of non-chronological reports, these are called conclusions!

  1. Values – What’s important to the school? Convince people reading that they share the same ideals as the people at the school!
  2. Slogans – Think of something catchy that encompasses the ideals of Great Mythenden school, use the S2S to help make this effective.
  3. Planning – You don’t need a heading for this one, put all of your ideas into the box up…
  4. Write up your paragraph – Don’t forget to put your quote in a larger, fancier font at the end!

It’s very important that you have lots of quotes in here, to prove your point and convince your reader that Great Mythenden is the best!

French

Friday 10th July 2020

This week in French I have added a document with lots of hyperlinks for you to explore at your own pace. It will help you to revise your colours in French and teach you some vocabulary on minibeasts.

Start off by clicking on the blue text (video) and listen to the song on colours. There are two worksheets to complete and a link to some very popular nursery rhymes. If any of you have attended my French club, you will have sung the 'Petit escargot' song with me.

Have a great week and I look forward to receiving your work.

Best wishes,

Madame Hemsworth
