Yesterday the children should of watched the PPT that introduces them to 3D shapes. Watch it again with the children and discuss if they can tell you any items around the house that are 3D shapes. They then have a sheet that they need to go and find all of the 3D shapes in and around the house. They need to make a tally mark every time they see one of the shapes. They can also make a list of the items they find around the house.
Discuss which 3D shapes are most common in the house and were there any shapes that the children could not find.
If the children would like to take photos of the items they find that are 3D shapes then that would be great.
