Practise your subtraction skills!
Remember there are a few different strategies you can use to help you:
- Counting out a number of small objects (pompoms, beads, pasta shapes, etc) and taking some away to find your answer
- Putting the number ‘in your’ head and counting back using your fingers to keep track of how many you have taken away
- Counting back along a number line
Both activities are colouring sheets. The first is subtracting from numbers up to ten, and the second is subtracting from numbers up to twenty if you would like a challenge!
