Good morning reception class and parents,
Welcome back to another week of distance learning and l am hoping for another great week. I hope you all enjoyed the three day weekend and managed to make the most of the beautiful weather and enjoyed the VE day celebrations somehow. We had a lovely party in the front garden with afternoon tea and played old playground games that kept the children happy. We spoke to the neighbours over the wall and played music from 1940's. It was a great day and a day we will look back at and think how much we enjoyed it. Here are a couple of pictures that I thought you might like to see.
Did you take any photos from this weekend that you want to share with the rest of the class? If you send them to me I will post the photos on the website tomorrow to share with the everyone.
This week we will continue with our topic which is growing and minibeasts but I also want to see other things that you are getting up to at home. This could be if you are baking, making something creative, building a lego model, riding your bike or having fun learning through play in your homes.
I am really hoping that we will be back at school soon as it feels like such a long time since we have all seen each other. I have lots of stickers and reward to give out and don't worry I won't forget! I hope you are all behaving for your parents at home and being very helpful.
BIG WELL DONE to Tansy who was in the Brilliant book on Friday. I have been so impressed with how creative she is being at home and having such a fun time with the distance learning. She has also sent me a daily joke everyday last week and that really made me smile.
Keep safe and keep smiling!
