Day 11: Monday 20th April 2020

Good morning everyone!

Welcome back after a hopefully relaxing and enjoyable Easter, even if you did need have to stay at home! I have to admit, like I thought, for me, it wasn’t quite as an exciting break as normal. Normally I see friends and family, go for lunch, do more gym classes, but instead it was just Mr BR, me and the bump! We got a fair bit of clearing and sorting done, a proper spring clean and lots of gardening in the sun which was nice (My Mum and Dad came round one day and stayed out in the garden to dig out some trees for me - We had a chat through the window!) I managed to have lots of ‘FaceTime’ calls with friends and regular quiz nights were a big feature! Bump is growing now, especially as the little munchkin liked the taste of Easter eggs! Haha! Did you guys enjoy the time? What did you get up to? Did the Easter Bunny deliver? I know he was very busy.

So, after two weeks off I am sure you are more than ready to have a bit of structure again and are ready to face the next challenges that distance learning brings. We will be continuing the same pattern of activities as before Easter, so a daily Maths, English and Phonics. Then a weekly spelling list, a weekly Topic activity, which is now ‘The Seaside’ and then the occasional extra activity such as Science, Art, PE etc. Remember I am always here on the emails and I can’t wait to start receiving your work again.

I completely understand that some days it may not be possible to complete all the work and you may need a bit of down time. That is okay! I care greatly about your health and well-being so please just do what you can, when you can with no pressure. Keep smiling!

Here are a few snaps of my Easter!
