Morning Parents and children,

How HOT was yesterday!!! We were roasting and had to spend the afternoon following the shade around our garden. Did you all have a lovely day in the sunshine?

I had bought some pumpkin seeds and they got delivered so Effie was desperate to plant them so I helped her plant them up over lunch and now we will just have to keep an eye on them, when the pumpkin gets too big for the pots we will re plant them in a much bigger pot!

As many of you know I absolutely love cooking (not baking as I am terrible at that) but I really love making spicy dishes and dishes from all over the world. One of my highlights of being at home so much is that I have been cooking from scratch everyday and I am getting George and Effie to try lots of new things. George tried anchovies yesterday and told me they are THE BEST THING EVER! I made some chicken tikka kebabs yesterday and on Tuesday night I cooked a really spicy curry! Here are some pics below.
My mums lovely friend sent me these masks in the post because she heard I was returning to work on June 2nd and she wanted to keep me safe and still looking fun and colourful for the children. Which one is your favourite? I think mine is probably the dinosaur one!
All the caterpillars are doing really well and growing everyday! Effie is caring for them so well and sometimes I find her sitting next to them and telling them their names over and over. I managed to get a little video of one of them ( crawly ) having a little wiggle around.

Have a lovely day everyone and I look forward to seeing what you all get up to.

Keep smiling
