LO: Arrange your Great Mythenden prospectus
We are finally getting to pull our non-chronological report together and arrange it however we see fit!
Use anything and everything you’ve created, considering your layout, design and presentation carefully.
We have seen all of your incredible effort throughout this, our final unit of English this year. I can’t wait to see how you summarise all of your learning in this last display of your incredible progress!
If you've left some sections at school (whoops!) then create some illustrations to go alongside these, now.
Using the S2S to remind you of key features, finalise your information text and send it to your (ever so proud) teachers.
Maths today is all about...shapes!
Do you remember all of the important parts of shapes, 2D and 3D, and what common features they share?
Let's recap some of the main rules whilst practicing our spelling and identifying shapes:
- Watch Miss Read's video outlining the shapes properties.
- Play the "name game" a fun spelling test and challenge to see what you can remember.
- Fill in the properties of shapes sheet, maybe you can find some objects around your home to help you!

LO: To create a rain forest habitat diorama
Your toucan pictures were amazing! Well done, I was confident if I could do it, you would all do an incredible job.
This weeks activity is a project that we had hoped to do in school, but we thought you could have a go today and you can finish it off on Wednesday or later this week. You will create a rain forest habitat diorama. If you have a shoe box great, but if not, I think you could use another type of box that is of similar size.
Remember the rain forest layers earlier in the topic unit?
Here are all the instructions - https://www.firstpalette.com/craft/rainforest-diorama.html
Please let us know how it goes!
