Day 12: Tuesday 21st April 2020
I hope that yesterday was not too much of a struggle to get back into the swing of distance learning. It felt strange for me starting a new term not coming into school this morning… still going to take a while to get used to this! I had mixed reviews on the emails from you guys about how motivated you were to complete the activities, but overall it sounds like everyone was really productive in the end. This is normal for even if we were in school so don’t worry if you need a little bit of warming up! I saw some fantastic work, especially your writing. Not only did I enjoy reading them (you guys all had a fab Easter!) but I love seeing how your handwriting and spellings are improving! So well done, keep it up and remember those key things on our writing checklist.
Monday, for me started with my usual porridge, yoghurt and fruit breakfast with a big cup of tea and catching up on the news. Then I went for a long walk in the sun on my ‘daily exercise allowance’. Today I ventured down and around the grounds of Hughenden Manor and then back up the hill through the woods and home which was fab. I also found a spot of beautiful bluebells! After a bit of work admin and then lunch I spent the rest of the afternoon reading all your daily email updates and about your fantastic Easter antics which made me smile, along with my last slice of carrot cake I made a few days ago. In the late afternoon I had a lovely surprise door step delivery of a lasagne from my Mummy so that was dinner sorted!
Lastly, today I have added a music section to the page of learning. Here you will find a message from the amazing Mrs Hulbert all about some things you can be doing at home to carry on with the music part of the curriculum! It is here if you want it, but it is optional.
Have a terrific Tuesday everyone,
Mrs MB x
