Good morning all
Yesterday was a surreal day for us, as we're sure it was for you. However, we have some many positives from the day that kept us going- we had fantastic work being sent to us, videos, pictures and funny stories being emailed, we even received a joke or two! We really enjoyed still being able to communicate with you all via email, you made us both laugh and smile so thank you. We hope the rest of the week follows suit.
The sunshine was an added bonus and it was great to hear that many of you were able to take breaks outside in your garden, breaks from work are important. We have heard great feedback about Joe Wick's workout videos from 9 until 9:30, so if you didn't get a chance to get involved yesterday, why not have a go today! Also, well done if you are keeping up with your skipping challenge. I am going to start up the challenge again which I stopped a few years ago! Let's hope the nice weather continues.
A special mention to these children:
Ella (6K) for her great science poster related to electricity
Amelia (6S) and Charlotte (6K) for setting up a well organised work station and timetable to ensure their days are structured.
Violet (6C) for a very detailed and beautifully presented English plan.
Hannah (6S) for making a behaviour chart with her brother and making it up to 'Great' :)
These are just a few children who have really impressed us today.
Also, Mr Littler for a super effort with his skipping evidenced and sent to us!
Please send all work in the same email where possible with an update of your day if you wish to your class email address, we can then keep on top of who has sent work in and the feedback sent back. However, if you are stuck on something and need support you can send a separate email when the challenge arises. Alternatively, just send anything you are stuck on in the same email and we will help.
Thank you again for being such a great year group, we have been blown away by your maturity. Stay safe and we are thinking about you all.
P.S I have uploaded photos from our DT day on Friday at the bottom of this page- what a fun day!
