Great Missenden

Church Of England Combined School

An Academy of the Great Learners Trust

Tuesday

Morning Reception Class,

I hope yesterday was a good day for everyone and you all managed to have a good go at the tasks that were set. I found yesterday a little tricky, I think I am really starting to miss seeing my mum and dad and so are the children. We decided to make some lovely postcards to send to them and had a video chat over lunchtime with a cup of tea. One thing that did really cheer me up was all the lovely tapestry posts from you all so I thought I would share some more of your amazing work on here so everyone can see what we are all doing.

You do all really amaze me everyday with your smiles and your attitude to distance learning so I want to say a massive well done to you all and if we were at school you would ALL be on the sunshine!

Parents please don't worry if the children are not getting through all the tasks in one day, I am sending more than I would expect them to achieve that day but obviously if you need it you have access to it all. I still love seeing the children explore through play and doing lovely activities like riding their bikes, playing instruments, cooking and many more. I would love those activities to also be uploaded to tapestry as this all links to their EYFS learning journal and I am then able to link it all and show their development at the end of the school year. Please email me if you need any help with anything I have set.

Thanks for all your support
