Good morning year 3!
Welcome back to distance learning. I hope you all had wonderful half terms. From the emails I have already received it seems like the majority of you did.
Unlike Miss Sharratt, I am not a particularly skilled baker. I am a great eater though and enjoyed a BBQ or 2 over half term, as well as some ice creams. I have also been trying to keep as active as possible, even in the heat. Skipping has taken a back seat, but running and walking are back on the agenda. I might try some biking as well.
Now that the lockdown rules have been slightly relaxed, I hope you are looking forward to seeing some of your friends again. I am going to see my family this weekend for the first time in ages which I am really looking forward to. It is my birthday the weekend after so it will be a wonderful early present.
Before I leave you with today’s tasks, I have a mission for you, should you choose to accept it. It is the fabulous Mrs Steele’s birthday tomorrow. If we were at school, we would make a lovely book for her with some messages in. However, as we are not in school, I thought you could email me a picture or drawing with a birthday message for her if you wanted. I think she would really appreciate it and I know a lot of you have had her in your class at some point during your time at Great Missenden. I will collect all the messages up and show her all the lovely things you have said.
Have a wonderful day everyone,
