Day 13: Wednesday 22nd April 2020
Good morning Year One,
We have made it to ‘hump day’ and I am so proud of how you have all managed to get back into the routine of home schooling. I had lots of giggles reading your creative writing work in English, something a little bit different which seemed to go down really well. Also, by the sounds of it you did really well remembering our number doubles too, great job Year One!
The teachers had our weekly quiz night last night, which is always really fun and a nice way for us to stay connected. Like you guys are missing your friends, the teacher miss seeing each other everyday too. I had a lovely chat with Miss Crick and Mrs H over the holidays as well, they send their love and are missing you all! Here they are being their usual nutty selves!
Today I had another lovely walk in this glorious weather… this time I walked towards Prestwood (where my Mum & Dad live) and I bumped into my sister on her walk (not literally - obviously keeping our 2 metres apart!) It was so good to see her in real life, not just on FaceTime!
Also, remember that if you want to get creative or have an extra challenge/activity, check out the rest of the Distance Learning pages (Art, DT, Science, History, PE and Music) as there are loads of things you can do to keep yourselves busy! Mr Austin has put up some fab PE videos and there is a 'Thinking Hat' competition on the DT page which looks a lot of fun!
One last thing, don’t forget on a Wednesday I will upload the new spelling list for the week. It is completely optional but try and have a go if you can!
Have a wonderful Wednesday,
Mrs BR x
