Welcome to Year 1
Welcome to Year One with Miss Lay and Mrs Hancock and Miss Crick.
Year One begins the children's journey into Key Stage One, so it is a very important year and we aim to give all the children the best transition possible from the EYFS. We do this by make learning come to life through our exciting topics and lessons. We love to challenge ourselves and we are always trying to stretch our fantastic, elastic brains, having lots of fun whilst we learn through our inspiring creative curriculum. We are resilient learners and use our growth mindset everyday which means that we never give up, even if we find something really tricky.
We look forward to sharing with you all the fantastic things that happen in Year One this year!
