Dear Year 3 Children and Parents,
In this section of the website, you will find a range of tasks and activities that give you the opportunity to continue your learning away from school. These will be uploaded daily and will follow the teaching curriculum that we would normally be using at school. You will also find links to useful websites that can be used as an additional learning tool for children and parents.
Daily tasks will include an English and Maths lesson, 3 times a week there will be guided reading activities set and weekly tasks will include a Topic / Science activity and spellings. Reading expectations are exactly the same - 4x a week. Please feel free to share some of the excellent books you have read.
For other enquiries, not related to distance learning, please continue to use the year 3 email address.

Information about the return to school
Dear Year 3 parents,
We hope you are well and are looking forward to the weekend. We wanted to send out a quick message just to touch base about the proposed return to school on Monday 29th June. You should now have received the bubble that your child is in.
On the first day back, we will be going through all of the health and safety around the school and there will be plenty of time for discussion of this. We understand that the children will have lots of questions so we want to have an open conversation with them all.
We ask that you ensure that your child comes to school prepared with the following items on the first day back:
A pencil case with two working pens, pencils, colouring pencils/ pens, a ruler, rubber, scissors, glue stick and anything else you feel might be necessary.
Suncream (that you are able to put on yourself), summer hat and water bottle. These are really important if this lovely weather continues.
A reading book that you are reading
Everyone's safety is the most important thing to us and we hope to make the last few weeks of year 3 memorable! Children do not have to wear school uniform, they should wear MUFTI that can then be washed at the end of each day.
Thank you for your continued support and if you have any questions please email the year 3 email address and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Enjoy your weekend and we look forward to welcoming the children back on Monday.
