Useful Information

Forest School
We are very excited to be introducing Forest School in Year 2 this term. Our Forest School session will be on a Tuesday morning. Forest School is a unique and valuable experience where children are able to explore and experience appropriate risk and challenge. There is an underpinned holistic approach which enables development to thrive through a variety of activities and opportunities in a natural environment.

Please bring your child in on Tuesdays ready to go to Forest School. We will be going whatever the weather, so they will need suitable layers, a waterproof coat and wellington boots. Please ensure that children are wearing their school uniform underneath the layers, and their school shoes are in a separate bag.
 

PE

Due to this terms Forest School session, Year 2 will be going down to one PE lesson a week, which will be on a Wednesday (indoor session). Please ensure your child comes into school on Wednesdays in the appropriate kit. Earrings need to be removed or taped over and long hair should be tied back.
