Children will be introduced to their new spellings throughout the week during phonics lessons. They will have a short spelling check the following Friday with the new spellings then coming home in their spelling books. 

Please return their spelling books on a Friday ready for their new spellings to be added. 

Your child will practise these spellings in school as well. All spellings come directly from our school phonics scheme and are carefully chosen to match the sounds taught that week, helping to build confidence and success.
