• Year 4 - Trip to Museum of London

  On Monday 30^th September, Year 4 had the exciting opportunity to attend a fabulous ‘Hands on Roman Workshop’ at the Museum of London. Students got to handle many original Roman artefacts such as a bronze statuette, pottery and much more. They learnt how Roman central heating systems worked and why Roman’s would carry a strigil around their belt.

  It was a true insight into life in Londinium and was enjoyed by all. For those students whom have been inspired by the trip, the museum of St. Albans also offers a meet a Roman soldier session at the weekends and an array of objects to see from people of Roman Verulamium in the museum.
