School Performance and Ofsted and SIAMS Reports

Performance

At Great Missenden School, we are committed to ensuring that every pupil receives a high-quality education that supports both their academic progress and personal development. We are proud of the achievements of our children and continually strive to raise standards across all areas of learning.

Each year, the Department for Education (DfE) publishes performance data for all schools, including attainment and progress scores for Key Stage 2. These measures help parents and the wider community understand how well pupils are achieving nationally.

You can view our most recent performance data below:

Please note that performance data may be unavailable or not comparable for certain years due to national assessment changes or exceptional circumstances.

Ofsted

Great Missenden School is regularly inspected by Ofsted, the national body responsible for evaluating the quality of education in schools across England. These inspections provide an independent and objective assessment of our teaching, leadership, safeguarding practices, and overall provision.

Latest Ofsted Report

Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place in April 2022.

You can read the full report on the Ofsted website using this link.

We welcome the findings of our inspection and remain committed to building on our strengths and addressing any areas for further improvement. Our staff, governors, and trust partners continue to work collaboratively to provide the best possible learning experience for every child.

SIAMS

As a Church of England academy within the Oxford Diocese, our school is also inspected under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) framework. SIAMS evaluates the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school’s Christian vision and the impact it has on the whole school community.

Latest SIAMS Report

Our latest SIAMS inspection took place in March 2026.

You can access the report below.

We are proud of the way our Christian values shape our curriculum, relationships, and wider school life, supporting every child to flourish.

Commitment to Continuous Improvement

At Great Missenden School, we believe in fostering a culture of reflection, ambition, and high expectations. Whether through curriculum development, staff training, or our partnerships with other schools in the Great Learners Trust, we are dedicated to ensuring that our school continues to grow and provide an excellent education for our pupils.
