Welcome to Great Missenden Pre-School
At Great Missenden Pre-School we have a child-led approach to learning. Planning is based on each child's individual needs and interests.
We follow an 'In The Moment' approach which allows flexibility of providing first hand experiences that are based on the children's interests and needs.
We encourage children to take risks in their play and provide challenging and stimulating activities within a child-led approach to learning.
Pre-school runs during the school term time, in line with the main school.
Children can attend as soon as they turn 3, although government funded sessions are available only from the term after a child's 3rd birthday.
Each session is for 3 hours:
Mornings – 8:45am - 11:45am
Afternoons – 12:15pm - 3:15pm
All day - 8:45am - 3:15pm
Children can attend for a minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 sessions in a week.
Government Funding is available for up to 15 hours, or up to 30 hours if eligible, which can be used in conjunction with a second setting / childminder.
