Parent Partnership Working Group:
The formation of a parent-focused working group has been a key step in strengthening our partnerships with parents. The group brings together staff from the Senior Leadership Team, the school office and the teaching team, ensuring that a range of perspectives are represented and contribute to discussions.
We also work closely with our Class Reps, meeting regularly to gather feedback from parents, share updates and discuss ways to further strengthen communication and partnership across the school community.
The members of the group are:
Johnny Magee, Headteacher
Lucia Magee, Attendance and Welfare Officer
Kate Eld, School Administrator
Caroline Carter, Office Manager
Steph Ekins, Deputy Headteacher
Sarah Pearson, Deputy Headteacher
We are thrilled to announce that we have achieved the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA)
This is a fantastic milestone for our school and a true reflection of the incredible community we have here at GM. The verification highlighted the warm, welcoming environment we’ve built together, the strong communication networks, the impressive rise in parental engagement, and the wonderful partnerships that make our school such a special place to be.
A huge thank you to our staff, parents, pupils, PTA, class reps, and everyone who has played a part in this journey. From coffee mornings and workshops to FUDGE & MAGEE days and everything in between, your enthusiasm, openness, and collaboration have made this award possible.
There is so much to celebrate, and we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together. But we’re not stopping here. We remain fully committed to strengthening our partnership with parents even further and continuing to make Great Missenden a community where every family feels welcomed, informed, and involved.
Here’s to working together and making it even better.
