Spellings
Half termly Spelling Overview (with spelling lists and dates)
Children will be given new spellings every week.
They will be handed out on a Tuesday and tested the following Tuesday.
These spellings will come home and will also be logged on Spelling Shed for the pupils to practise.
Children will learn a range of challenge words and will be taught different spelling rules.
Children are also expected to be able to spell a set of year 3/4 and 5/6 words accurately within their daily writing. These words follow the rules being taught over the course of primary school.

Year 6 have now learnt all their spelling rules and should be frequently accessing stage 5/6 on Spelling Shed to recap these rules.
