Junior Leadership Team
At Great Missenden School, our Junior Leadership Team uphold our school values of Truth, Faith, Love, Courage, Respect & Community. We play a pivotal role in promoting a happy school, inspiring a love of learning where children feel safe and their voice valued.
We work in collaboration with pupils, staff and governors making important decisions about our future while ensuring, the pupil's views are at the heart of all we do.
Each class in our school has a representative elected and we meet on a weekly basis to discuss various topics, such as well-being, the school site, finance/fundraising and teaching and learning. The JLT are vital in representing the pupils' voices and bringing forward ideas to improve and develop these areas.
Junior Leaders are involved and active in all aspects of school life.
What do we do?
Pupil voice - have regular informal chats with subject leaders and members of the SLT about our learning, thinking about areas we enjoy and what we would like to see more of.
