Your teacher in Year 2 is Mr Milner and your Learning Support Assistant is Mrs Sawyer.

In Year 2, we celebrate every individual and provide a safe environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging. All children are provided opportunities to be actively engaged in their learning and take part in hands-on activities. We are always trying our best, and we know that it is okay to make mistakes because they help us with our learning.

PE

Year Two will have 2 PE sessions each week. These will be on a Tuesday and a Thursday. Please ensure your child comes into school on these days in the appropriate kit. Earrings need to be removed or taped over and long hair should be tied back.

Reading 

The books go home on Fridays and must be handed back on the following Friday. 

Your child will take a Sharing Book and can exchange this as and when they want from the book box - please record any reading in our reading records.
